Extremely exciting and commercially minded Corporate Legal Counsel position – A Management Support Role with high M&A focus

If so, this is a unique opportunity for you to play a key role in finding solutions, which balance legal and commercial interests. We are looking for a highly qualified Corporate Legal Counsel to support our executive management team globally, mainly within questions related to M&A, international contracts, as well as corporate and commercial legal issues. You will report to the CEO of the Air & Ocean Division, and work from NTG’s headquarter in Hvidovre.

Management support and legal assistance across the business
As our Corporate Legal Counsel, you will provide full legal assistance to the Executive Management Team as well as functioning as management support on various matters.

  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, i.e. non-disclosure agreements, M&A documentations, shareholders agreements, insurance agreements etc.
  • Provide ad-hoc advice on various legal matters
  • Provide general management support
  • Provide support to M&A processes
  • Provide support to projects and initiatives
  • Resolve issues and handle disputes, including first-hand advice, collaboration and governance of external legal counsels
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and programs relating to compliance matters

Highly motivated, self-driven and solution-oriented candidate with a commercial approach
Our ideal candidate holds a master’s degree within law and has 3+ years of experience with M&A processes and general legal counselling.

We expect that you have solid experience in reviewing and preparing agreements and in negotiating independently.

You thrive on handling a wide range of tasks and you manage to consistently deliver professional and constructive solutions. You have a commercial approach, excellent analytical skills and you know how to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. In addition, you have great communication skills.

You are methodical and thorough. You have the ability to work effectively without losing sight of details and quality. Furthermore, you are able to handle complex business structures and advanced legal issues in a pragmatic, solution-oriented manner.

It is key that you by nature are committed, proactive and that you are able to identify and explore opportunities. You have high integrity and strong interpersonal skills. You can interact with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. In addition, you have business acumen, the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Since we are an international company, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration, which means that you must be fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.

Travelling must be expected in this position.
